OUR MISSION

We're kind of over the hierarchies. We're creating a publishing house with a horizontal structure. All members are co-owners & receive an even split in profits (when we have any). Our goal is to create an engaging & creative work environment that encourages collaboration and comradery.

No schedules. No managers. No bigots. No nazis.

WE'RE CARBON NEGATIVE

Everything we create, makes as few emissions as possible and we offset twice the lifetime of emissions produced for each product on our site. Our packaging only includes recycled or compostable materials. We release an annual carbon footprint report at the end of the year. While there's no ethical consumption under capitalism, we do hope to mitigate that as much as possible.

WE USE WHOLE NUMBERS

Our pricing formula is straight forward.
Cost to Produce + Packaging + Taxes + Transaction fees + Creator Fee = Price
We're trying something different. No marketing gimmicks. No $4.99 prices. No added taxes or fees at checkout. All of our prices are whole numbers. $5, $10, $15, $20. Taxes are included in the price. Shipping is always $5.
Taxes are 10%
Transaction fee is 5%
Creator Fee is 30% rounded up to nearest $5.

WE BELIEVE IN RADICAL TRANSPARENCY

It might be too much information. We will try not to make things sound overly complicated or confusing. But we believe everything should be out in the open. That's why we post our numbers annually at the end of the year. It's why we tell you our pricing formula. It's why we tell you on every product page the carbon created to produce each item. We have an open door policy. Just knock when you come in.

WE ARE ANTI AI ART & NFTs

Capitalism is phenomenal at destroying the human spirit. People will tell you that it's efficient and innovative, but mostly it's derivative and excessively wasteful and destructive. And we just don't need more of that. Humans under capitalism need reliable sources of income & deserve to own their creative footprints. AI art generators TAKE great art made by people and throw up cheap imitations. People use this to make profit without GIVING back to the original artists. While we're all for lowering the barriers of entry to creativity, stealing opportunity from hard working people is many steps too far. NFTs are just stupid. Copy & Paste and the way digital items function make it a silly endeavor that is melting our planet faster than we want. We don't like these things, they'll never be a part of our projects.
